If you’re running on empty

I hope this doesn’t sound familiar. But if it does, that’s also part of being human… If you’re feeling down or like you’re running on empty, it’s time to slow down and give yourself a break. Recharge your batteries.

Sometimes we don’t even notice how much we’ve run ourselves down. We get through the day, counting down to Friday. The weekend flies by. Everything seems OK, but something feels off. We don’t enjoy the things that used to make us happy. There’s no spark. No joy. Like we’re not really present in our own lives.

You don’t have to explain or even know what’s wrong. You don’t have to have a goal, a plan or some big thing you need to figure out. All you need is to want a little support, tenderness, attention and peace.

Energy sessions are a very gentle way to feel a little more like yourself again.

Some people come because they are tired. Others because they are facing an important decision. Some simply want a break from the noise and their obligations. And there are those who don’t know why they came. They just feel a pull and decide to listen to that feeling.

You don’t have to believe in anything in particular, have experience with energy work, or even know how to explain what you’re looking for. All you need is to give yourself an hour where you don’t have to worry about anyone or anything.

You arrive, get comfy and I tuck you in. I move my warm hands from your head to your feet and back again. Sometimes lightly touching you, resting my hands on you, and sometimes just above you. Everything happens calmly and naturally, without you having to do anything or achieve anything.

Some people fall asleep during the session. Others simply drift off into a pleasant feeling of peace. For some, images, ideas or answers appear that they weren’t even looking for. And sometimes the most beautiful thing happens: a deep exhalation and the feeling of colour returning to your life. One person notices warmth. Another finally experiences a quiet mind. Occasionally there’s an almost indescribable feeling of lightness. Or perhaps it’s simply one of the best cat naps you’ve had in years.  And that’s enough.
